It is not recommended to walking your Chihuahua in temperatures of 35-40 degrees Fahrenheit (~ 1-4 °C) without a special dog sweater. Walking your Chihuahua when it is even colder is strongly discouraged, especially when there is a wind-chill factor. In some cold regions, an indoor heater will be necessary to keep your Chi comfortable.
