Seorang pria telah ditemukan tewas, dan polisi - yang dipimpin oleh detektif Sasagaki (Funakoshi Eichiro) - percaya bahwa dia dibunuh oleh seseorang yang mereka mencurigai menjadi kekasihnya. Wanita itu akhirnya membunuh dirinya sendiri, meninggalkan Yukiho putrinya mengalami tahun bullying. Sementara itu, orang mati putra Ryoji akhirnya turun ke dalam kejahatan dan hidup terpencil. 18 tahun kemudian, Yukiho (Horikita Maki) dan Ryoji (Kora Kengo) sekarang secara terpisah menjalani kehidupan yang sama sekali berbeda, tetapi Sasagaki pensiun akhirnya mulai untuk memecahkan teka-teki yang kompleks, membuktikan bahwa Yukiho dan Ryoji mungkin lebih dekat daripada mereka tampaknya.

English Synopsis :

In 1980, a man has been found dead, and the police – led by detective Sasagaki (Funakoshi Eichiro) – believe he was killed by someone that they suspect to be his lover. The woman eventually kills herself, leaving her daughter Yukiho subjected to years of bullying. Meanwhile, the dead man’s son Ryoji eventually descends into crime and a secluded life. 18 years later, Yukiho (Horikita Maki) and Ryoji (Kora Kengo) are now separately leading totally different lives, but the retired Sasagaki is finally starting to solve this complex puzzle, proving that Yukiho and Ryoji may be closer than they appear to be.
