Finally, here it comes!
This little 'Apple Green' bowl from iittala works well for both serving and decoration and is a part of the 'Alvar Aalto Collection'.
Aalto(1898-1976) whom today is recognized as one of the great masters of modern architecture and Scandinavian design, created the Aalto Collection in various shapes, sizes and colours for iittala and the World Fair in Paris in 1937.
As is typical with a great work of art, the shape of the Aalto Bowl has been reinterpreted ever since!
The iittala Aalto bowl can be displayed as a group or as a single, exclusive work of art.
This particular bowl comes in 3 sizes. The winning piece holds medium size (40x136mm).
