Hi you guys!
We have a new week coming up and I wish for you it´ll be a really great one with lots of positive things entering your lives.
Mine is probably going to be a bit hectic and I will also try my very best to put some efforts in to keep myself on track with my new, a lot more 'healthier lifestyle':). I´ve passed the first week now and hopefully things will just get easier from now on...

The Industrial look has always felt very close to my heart and this Swedish home, actually situated nearby from where I live, is another of my absolute favourite ones.

I simply love everything about it, especially this down below so amazing guestroom with the beautiful leaded stained glass windows in front. The two industrial lamps and the antique iron bed, plus the natural light makes my heart beat FAST!
I want This Room So Bad:)!

No cheating...

I promised to keep you updated on my new 'diet' so here it comes...

I just love that quote, all of the sarcasm in it just makes me laugh out loud every time I stumble upon it!
To be honest, this qoute is telling a bit how I am feeling this Friday afternoon. I´m not feeling happy at all. My new 'lifestyle' so to speak, is a struggle and it has only been a few days off the carbs and the sugar in my diet.
Every morning I wake up I feel very proud of mysel though(cause I have been a good girl) but during the days I have to constantly find my inner warrior not to go there...

Giving up the sugar has already become a great battle and I am so looking foward to the day when I deep down inside can tell you all with sincere honesty, that I do not at all feel like having a glaced donut on the side with my black coffee.
Yeah right(!), as if that is EVER going to happen...

Javier Campos from Lima Peru... uses Godoy Machines

Javier Campos is a Peruvian tattoo artists. We mentioned his model machine in previous blogs. He has only been tattooing 8 years... look at his work. These are mastepieces. This is what every tattoo artist should strive for. When you have this kind of understanding of your machine and technique, there will be NO limits to what you can do.

I can't wait til the trend of traditional tattooing is over. It will be interesting to see who will be out of work and who won't. Artists with limits are just that. This guy will always be busy because he has the skills.



We met Javier at a convention in Lima Peru about 5 years ago, and saw him again at the following one. Since then, we have become friends and we meet whatever South American events which we decide to attend. Normally we give one of our machines as a prize for best black n grey tattoo, best realistic and best tattoo of the convention. And pretty soon, he was winning all the machine prizes!! We decided to start giving him machines in order to let other artists have a chance to win one of our prized machines.

I´m ready...

First, I hope your weekends turned out to be just the way you wanted them to be!?
Myself has spent a lot of time outdoors and the computer has been shut off since Friday, so I have a lot of catching up to do with all of you! Something I´m really looking foward to this beautiful Monday morning!

With that said, let´s get started with this weeks posting!
In my Kickstart post I was telling you all about the improvements I was about to do this new upcoming year. One of the things I was poiting out was to become a healthier Me!

My addiction to sweets has always been the big issue and it has for sure become much worse the last couple of years!
Therefor I´m about to try something new, I´m starting off with GI and LCHF-diets. Both recommends you eat less carbs and more of high fat. The LCHF- program seems to be a little tougher than the GI one. I´ve done some research on both of them and will simply mix´em up!
Hmm, I guess there´ll be no more juicy sandwiches during my lunchbreaks from now on:)...

I´m feeling a bit scared, going public for sure makes it more difficult for me to cheat. It would totally make me feel like a hypocrite and that does not feel any good at all. The strangest thing is that I have no problems at all 'cheating on myself'!
This actually just gave me an Aha-moment...
In the end, going public must be a good thing though, it´ll will keep me on track and hopefully provide me with some strong character:)!

If you have a close look in the background of this above photo(to the left) you´ll se a quote there. It comes from the movie 'Million Dollar Baby'(one of my absolute favourite ones ever seen). Maggie, played by Hillary Swank has really got some character going on and no matter what obsticle she bumps into, she refuses to quit.

I´ll try my very best to stay focused this time(cause there has been some major failures in the past for me, not being able to stick to things(for instant diets). This time I´m going to do what needs to be done, I will find my inner warrior and I am wholehearted putting myself up to be a Winner, and only that!
Besides friends and family I just know that you'll be there with your support, because each and every one of you are so loving and caring and simply amazing in all ways!

Picasso and I...

Picasso himself had one, now myself is somewhat experiencing the same thing- A 'Blue Period' or 'Periodo Azul' as it´s called in Spanish.

Feeling a bit confused?
Allow me to explain!

The 'Blue Period' is a term used to define to the works produced by Spanish painter Pablo Picasso between 1901 and 1904, when he painted essentially monochromatic paintings in shades of blue and blue-green, only occasionally warmed by other colors.

These somber works, inspired by Spain but painted in Paris, are now some of his most popular works, although he had difficulty selling them at the time...

My passion for blue started a little while ago during my 'Style searching'.
I´m always in some sort of passion when it comes to interior design and home decor. Now it just happens to be blue and the starting point must have been this down below so beautiful bluepainted bureau from my dear friend Mon´s house(click here to see more of this beautiful eclectic home and click here to transport yourself to Mon´s successfull blog 'Splendid Willow'.
I simply love it and ever since I´ve had a MAJOR crush on blue!

It´s like a new world has opened up for me. You see, I have never before been into the colors of blue, especially not when it comes to interior design and interior decorating. So now I´m totally experiencing something new and find potential in things I would have never even looked at before.

Even though Picassos Blue period obviously represented a quite dark time in his life, blue must be considered as a versatile type of color. It has a dark and a bright side, it´s a masculine type of color but with a truly quite femine side as well, it can be looked at as noble yet bohemian.
I´m truly in love with blue this moment and if I was about to follow my passion I would go wild with a dark rich blue color on my todays white walls.
